Individuals can prevent migraines by avoiding certain foods. Even though stress is a main trigger of migraines, there are other causes of migraines such as certain foods. Some people have different types of food supplements that they cannot eat because they will get a migraine. The food that a person consumes can either help with migraine pain or worsen it. Some people do not receive migraines by eating this but a majority of people do get migraines because of these food supplements. For example, chocolate, caffeine, and other sweets can trigger a migraine for some individuals. There are other food supplements that can trigger a migraine. individuals have found that dairy products triggers migraines. Other foods that can cause migraines are tomatoes and onions. There are also drinks that may trigger migraines. For example, caffeinated drinks such as tea or coffee can trigger migraines. Migraine sufferers can determine what foods cause them migraines by avoiding certain food for two weeks and observing the if the migraines are less frequent.
